This is NOT Whole30, and thanks to soybean oil and most likely sugar in the chicken marinade, it’s not even paleo, but that’s OK! I decided that, for now, I’m doing 80/20 paleo (probably more like 95/5). I’ll still eat paleo, and most of my food will follow Whole30 rules, but 1-2 meals a each week might have ingredients that aren’t allowed with that framework. Having done several Whole30s before, I have a pretty good sense of which “forbidden” foods are OK for my body. This meal is just fine, and OMG is it good! It’s Peruvian pollo a la brasa, platanos maduros, house salad with hot sauce, and some super garlicky green beans. Breakfast will be back to Whole30
